Good morning...jump on the WLS Express today.  I am going back home after a not so good Aggie Football game, but a great tailgating experience yesterday.  We were so tired we went to sleep soon after 9 am.  I need to get home and do some chores.

Prayers for all who need them, most especially Robin's son.

Have a great day!

Good morning!!!!  Went yesterday to the Walk from Obesity and it was the perfect day for it!!!  Felt good to walk in the crisp fall air!  Michael said he'd go to the park with me and walk this morning but he's still in bed so I guess I might be going solo!!!  Thought about taking the kids but they walk too slow.  No point in walking if I have to do it at a snails pace!

When the kids were little we got one of those big wooden play sets about 6 years ago... well now my kids are soon to be 10 and 12.... I am happy to report it has found a new home about 4 houses down!!!!  They have 3 kiddos all under the age of 3!!!!  So they will put it to good use!  We told them if they came and took it apart and moved it... they could have it.  They are about half done with it.  The mom and kids brought brownies over last night to say thank you which was really sweet.  The little girl is so excited she can barely stand it... she's going to be bugging her daddy non stop to build the swing!!!!!

Not much planned for me today.  Hopefully it will stay that way!

Prayers to all who need them... any update's on Robin's son?

I gave my sister our swing set a few years ago. My nieces loved it. Glad you found a home for it!

GOOD MORNING! I had a horrible time staying asleep last night-kept waking up every hour or two. But, I'm awake now, so that's good. Took Sophia, Maya, and Chris to Denny's on 35 and Western Center and I won't be returning. I ordered a chipotle chicken but the sauce tasted bad so I returned it for a plain chicken breast. Then, I took 1 bite of my supper when I saw a roach cross the room near our table. I lost my appetite at that point. GROSS!!

I put some decorations out yesterday for Halloween. I can't find our orange lights but am hoping to find them today so I can put them out. The kids helped me hang the bats from the tree.

Hope everyone has a great day today!

Not much on the agenda for today.  Have checkbook and bills sitting beside me but hearing two venti lattes calling me from Ennis.  Cotton Festival yesterday like any other small town festivities.  Did not have to hang out for the dance so got home earlier than anticipated and was able to watch Miss. State beat Florida in Gainsville.  Norma was a very happy camper last night despite locking herself out of her house.

Paige - good job on recycling the kids play set!

Yes, I am a very happy camper today as it is a GREAT day in M-State Bulldawg country.  We did beat Florida 10-7 in Gainesville...btw the first time that we have beaten them in Gainesville since 1965, and they were ranked #22, and it was also their Homecoming.  My guess is that they will be out of the Top 25 after that game.  One more win for the season, and we are Bowl eligible.  And as I told Don, if we happen to end up at the Cotton Bowl, guess who is going???  Yeppers, you got that right!!!

Yes, I locked myself out of my own home last night.  A half hour or so and $160 later, I am finally back in the house.  Don was so sweet about it, and didnt rub it in until now.  We have this thing now where when I am leaving the football watching party, he will talk to me the whole way home (probably about 10-12 miles) on the phone, and then we will both go to sleep.  Well, last night he talked to me the whole way home, and when I realized I was locked out, he called the locksmith for me, and then we talked until he got to the house.  The moral of the story is if you hide a key in the garage, always be sure to put it back before you leave the house.

Good morning,

Going to the State Fair today after Sunday School, should get my excercise in with all the walking we will be doing, I have not been to the fair since revision to RYN but I an not worried about the food tempations since fried foods don't appeal to me as much anymore.

Have a great day!

Good morning! Not too much on my agenda today...cleaning/washing/organizing..yep--real EXCITING to be me!!

Extra special prayers for ROBIN G and her son, Tyler. She used to be a regular poster, and is still very much loved.

If anyone is going to stay in town and is interested in joining us, the annual Turkey Trot, benefitting Ft Worth YMCA is early Thanksgiving morning. Corbin wants to do the 10K instead of the 5K this year. The link is

www.fwtrot.org

It's always thru a beautiful neighborhood and everyone is real friendly-plus it's only $20, it's a good cause-and it's EXERCISE. I'll probably d a thread on it this week and see if anyone wants to suffer thru with me.

Hope everyone has a restful day today, and at least one GREAT thing happen to them.

I LOVE Y'ALL AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!

Although I can't run it - I want to be there to cheer everyone on at the finish line, esp Corbin! WOW! Go Corbin!!!

SOOOO glad you won't have to come over and take electrodes and glue out of my hair this year! That's an experience I don't miss!

Love you!!
